I have had my Quarter Horse Lad for about 5 years
now. When I first got him I noticed a small white spot on his eye. I
never really thought much of it until it started to get bigger.
About 3 years ago my vet told me he had Uveitis. After 2 years, 2
different vets and lots of money spent I finally had a animal
ophthalmologist look at his eye. He told me that he had a really bad
case of Uveitis and could eventually loose his eye. I was heart
broken! Lad was only 14 at the time and I couldn't bear the thought
of him loosing his eye.
The ophthalmologist suggested I try a couple of
different oral medications, and instead of using just a regular fly
mask, that I try the Guardian Mask. Lad loves it!! Every morning he
lowers his head and walks right to me when I go to put it on him. I
made sure that he had the mask on every day but he has such a pretty
face and the mask looks so goofy that I didn't put it on him when I
rode.... Until now! Last week I met with the ophthalmologist to see
how Lad's eye was doing. I thought it was looking better but didn't
know if it was me just wanting it to be better or if it really was.
He told me that if he didn't already know that he had Uveitis that
he wouldn't be able to tell!!
I was so happy!!! I truly believe that the
Guardian Mask helped!! Now any time someone asks about his goofy
mask I tell them that those are his sweet new sunglasses! :)
Thank you so much! I honestly believe that the Guardian Mask saved
my horses eye!
